TEOTIHUACÁN, located 30 miles N.E. of Mexico City, is known as “the city of gods” and the spiritual heart of the ancient Toltec civilization.  The Toltecs were artists, scientists, and master builders whose high level of spiritual attainment made them eligible to live within the sacred precinct of Teotihuacán — a virtual “Heaven on Earth.” It is said that the Toltecs encoded and preserved their sacred wisdom by energetically “feeding” it to the rocks and stones. To this day, these teachings remain accessible through the powers of love and shamanic ritual. With the guidance and blessings of the Toltec elders, and spiritual facilitator  Melissa Applegate, we’ll enter the Toltec temple and pyramid portals as a group harmonic to fully integrate the rhythm of the Galactic Heart.

DAY 1
:  Oct. 11 Assemble as a group by 4:00 p.m. at Mexico City International Airport to be privately transported to our hotel, Villa Arqueologica.  Located in the archaeological zone only 5 minutes' walking distance from the main entrance to Teotihuacán, the hotel is newly renovated in hacienda style and surrounded by lovely gardens.  The rest of the evening is at your leisure -- swim in the pool; have a shot of Tequila at the bar; or dine in the hotel's authentic Mexican restaurant.

DAY 2:
  Oct.12
Following a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we are escorted by private coach to the National Museum of Anthropology, one of the world's finest museums located in Chapultepec Park.  Here we'll explore thousands of relics from Mexico's rich cultural past including the famous stone Aztec sun calendar, giant stone Olmec heads, and a reconstructed ancient Mayan temple.  As many of these objects are made of crystalline substances, we'll have the opportunity to energetically access information encoded within them through the use of breath and focused heart-awareness.  Afterwards, the remainder of the day is yours to dine, shop, swim, or take a siesta.

DAYS 3 and 4:
Oct. 13-14
The next two days will be devoted to Teotihuacán, the highlight of our journey. Collectively as a group and individually on our own, we'll move through the site with ample opportunity to explore, photograph, purify, process and transform.  Following the transformational "path of initiation" architecturally incorporated into the structure of "Teo", we'll traverse the vast temple and pyramid complex by way of the central "Avenue of the Gods" -- a mirror image of our Solar System and the Milky Way that document Earth's alignment to natural cycles of time and space.  Some of the incredible sites we'll encounter within this grid are:

Temple of Feathered Serpent
Pyramid of Feathered Serpent
Citadel
Temple of the Jaguar
Temple of the Quetzal Butterfly
Temple of the Feathered Conch
Pyramid of the Moon
Pyramid of the Sun

From the old paradigm of discord and duality, we emerge in the new paradigm of harmony and wholeness -- fully resonating in attunement to the Rhythm of the Galactic Heart!

DAY 5: Oct. 15  With hearts ablaze, we say adios to Teotihuacán until the next time.  After hotel check-out, we're transported by private coach to Mexico City International Airport.  Those continuing on the optional tour to Palenque will assemble for the flight to Villahermosa.

To be the Sun, I ignite my luminous body from the acceptance of my divinity.  From within the vastness of my inner Sun, I birth potential worlds.  Within the foundation of my human form, I awaken my star points within this heavenly body to touch all worlds and move in all dimensions.  My inner Sun blazes with unconditional love.  I ignite my heart of self.  I feel the radiance of my embodied Sun.  I taste its brilliance, now consuming my yearning, distilling my essence, revealing my original state of freedom and innocence.  My divine child is birthed anew.  As I merge with the spirit of the Great Central Sun, I Am the return path to the stars.

PALENQUE, meaning “place of the Sacred Tree”, is our next stop.  Located in the lush green tropical rain forest and foothills of the Sierra Madre de  Chiapas in the Yucatan , Palenque is renowned for its exquisite tropical beauty and a secret underground burial chamber discovered in 1952 containing a massive sarcophagus and the bejeweled and masked body of  the great Mayan King Pacal Votan. The 5-ton lid of the sarcophagus is impossible to move and the source of much controversy since no one knows for sure how it was set in place. With the assistance of Pacal Votan and the Mayan elders, we’ll collectively pass through the doorway of the Sacred Tree and into the “Heart of the Galactic Sky” for purposes of peaceful global synchronization.

DAY 6: Oct. 16
After an early breakfast, we'll explore the beautiful site of Palenque personally escorted by MEC archaeologists who have worked there extensively for years. On site, we'll learn about the sacred geometry of the structures, their astronomical alignments, the history of their excavations, translations of the hieroglyphic texts and elaborately carved royal scenes that adorn many of the walls.  We'll also have the opportunity to visit current excavation projects and hear the inside scoop from people who "really" know.  After a mid-day lunch break, we'll take a guided tour through the on-site museum and visit the recently re-opened tomb of Pacal Votan.

Oct. 17
After breakfast and check-out, we leave early for a two and a half hour scenic drive through the rolling hills of eastern Chiapas to Bonampak.  Here we'll learn about the city's history and its most powerful king, Chan Muan, and see the painted murals thought to be the most beautiful and well preserved in all the Maya world.  In the afternoon, we'll lunch in the village of Lakamia and meet the Lacandon Maya, the only indigenous group in Mexico who continue to practice their traditional religion.  Next we travel to the town of Frontera Corazal and check into the Hotel Escudo Jaguar, a rustic group of cabanas perched above Central America's largest river, the Usumancinta.

Like the Morning Star, we'll rise at dawn to take a boat ride up the Usumancinta River to the sacred site of Yaxchilan, set into the hills above the riverbank.  Once there, we'll explore the incredible temples and admire the carved lintels and stela as our MEC archaeologist explains the obscured meanings.  Afterwards, we'll return to Frontera Corazal to visit a museum set up by the local community to house stelae and artifacts from the region's lesser known ruins before traveling back to Palenque. Overnight at Hotel Tulipanes.
